Hall of Cruelty Names Inductees

Congratulations to Hartz Mountain Corporation. You are the first to be inducted into the HartzKills.org Hall of Cruelty for your pioneering ways in the field of cruelty to animals. All of your stakeholders and employees should be deeply and utterly ashamed of themselves.

But Hartz et al has so many accomplices. It just wouldn’t be right to exclude them from these dishonorable ranks. So let’s start by inducting into the Hall of Cruelty a few of the web sites that are running Hartz’s deplorable advertisements.

Three sites merit immediate induction because they are animal-oriented destinations and should, therefore, have the best interests of pet owners and their pets at heart. Unfortunately, their devotion to the Almighty Dollar trumps whatever affection they claim to have for animals. So it is with great disappointment that I induct Cute Oveload, Catster, and Dogster into the HartzKills.org Hall of Cruelty.

Have you seen an ad for Hartz’s poison on other web sites, or in any magazines? Has Hartz been advertising during your favorite TV show? Please write to the site owner, magazine publisher, or TV station–or call them, if there’s a phone number–and let them know why they should pull the ads. Be polite and informative, and encourage them to visit this site and other Hartz awareness sites. If they don’t respond to your message, or if they aren’t receptive to your concerns, then please comment below (be specific) so that I can add them to the Hall of Cruelty.
