Just Another Day at Hartz Mountain Corporation

It’s not just Hartz’s flea and tick products and cat vitamins that can poison and even kill your pet. Their dog treats are deadly, too. Hartz Mountain Corporation has issued a recall of its “chicken-basted rawhide chips for dogs” because it turns out that they are contaminated with Salmonella.

But this isn’t really news. It’s just another day at the Hartz Mountain Corporation.

A few days ago, my grandfather put some Hartz Ultra Guard Plus flea and tick spray on my cat. Her skin started to blister. She became lethargic, wouldn’t eat or drink, and lost a lot of weight real fast. I did some research and found out what Hartz does to its users. When I got home, I immediately told my grandfather. We went to the nearest store to get Dawn dish soap. Right after we washed her, she started to act better. When your cat stops eating, force feed them with a syringe. That’s the best you can do when you cant afford the vet. We’re waiting for the result.
